Everyone in the tech market were talking about Design thinking a decade back. It vanished from the the collective memory at the speed in which it caught the imagination of the Techies.
Now no one talks about Design thinking, except maybe a bunch of hallucinated decision makers maybe and the entire design community, who by far have been keeping the flames of Design thinking burning.
But what really happened to the rest of the community ? the section that adopted Design thinking just dropped it like a ball in a moment of madness!! Or you say the madness existed in adopting it in the first place ?
The truth is that, The design thinking moment has just vanished from the surface level but the good news is that it has proliferated to the deeper layers of the community.
Experienced developers still resort to expertise when designing the features. The real question is what makes them adopt this while the rest of the community, seems to have abandoned it ?
The truth is senior techies dont just write code. They frequently interact with customers and are confronted with really wicked problems.
